PRESENTATIONS

Joe Public Doesn’t Care About Your Hospital
You’ve probably heard it a hundred times. “We’re the best story no one’s heard” or “we’re a hidden gem.”  The idea is that if you just promoted your hospital more, your beds would fill and coffers would overflow.  Chris Bevolo will discuss the premise behind this assertion, and how acknowledging it can have a dramatic impact on marketing and communication strategies. Chris is president and founder of Interval and author of “A Marketer’s Guide to Brand Strategy:  Advanced Techniques for Healthcare Organizations.”  He is a frequent keynote speaker and featured presenter on the topics of marketing, branding, innovation, the patient experience and consumer trends.

Legislative Update

Nichole Magalis is Senior Director, Government Relations, with the Illinois Hospital Association and has been with IHA since 2000.  Founded in 1923, the IHA advocates on behalf of its 200-member hospitals.  Nichole represents IHA member interests to the legislators and staff of the Illinois General Assembly as well as with other lobbyists and interest groups.  She received her bachelor’s degree in history from Illinois College and a master’s degree from the University of Illinois at Springfield.

Just Enough Hours in the Day:  Time Management with a Twist
