Lake Forest Hospital Newsletter Wins National Excellence Award

The Health Report, Lake Forest Hospital’s quarterly newsletter, has won a 2006 APEX® Award of Excellence. This prestigious award recognizes excellence in editorial content, graphic design and overall communications effectiveness in publications produced by professional communicators.

The Health Report won in the Newsletters/Print category in which nearly 50 awards were presented to the entries deemed exceptional out of the more than 500 from organizations nationwide that were judged in the 18th annual competition. Other winners in this category include publications from the American Academy of Pediatrics, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, ESPN and University of Illinois/Chicago College of Dentistry.

APEX® is the Annual Awards for Publication Excellence Competition. It’s sponsored by the editors of Writing That Works, the newsletter for communicators who write, edit and manage business publications. Writing That Works is published by Communications Concepts, Inc. APEX® is open to communicators in corporate, nonprofit and independent settings.
