Physical Therapy Center Announces New Name
Yorkville
Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine Center has opened under a new
name, Atlas Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine Centers.
Charles Clark, P.T., a lifelong resident of Yorkville, began the
practice in Yorkville in 1995 as Yorkville Physical Therapy and has
since opened offices in Oswego and Aurora under the practice’s new
name.
The centers specialize in sports medicine, manual therapy and
orthopedic rehabilitation. Clark also consults for Rush-Copley Medical
Center and has experience working with professional athletes like
members of the Chicago Bears.
“At Atlas, we are committed to the continuing education of our
staff,” said Clark. “By knowing the latest treatments and techniques we
are poised to provide the best possible care to our clients.” Most
recently, Clark completed an advanced post-graduate course on spinal
mobilization taught by a world-renowned professor from the British
School of Osteopathy.
The practice was renamed to help clients and physicians identify the practice at its three locations, including:
- Rush-Copley Healthplex at 1900 Ogden Avenue in Aurora
- Rush-Copley Medical Offices at 507 W. Kendall Drive in Yorkville
- Dreyer/Rush-Copley Medical Building at 80 Templeton Drive in Oswego
For more information about Atlas Physical Therapy or to schedule an
appointment at any of the three locations, please call 630-553-0349.
Rush-Copley Medical Center is located on the Rush-Copley Medical
Center campus, 2000 Ogden Ave. (Route 34) in Aurora. The 160-bed
hospital offers inpatient and outpatient care and progressive
technology. Rush-Copley is a member of the Rush-System for Health.
