Rush-Copley Announces New Chief Information Officer
Rush-Copley Medical Center is pleased to announce a new Chief Information Officer (CIO). Dennis DeMaise, M.B.A., comes to Rush-Copley with an impressive background in healthcare technology experience.
Most recently, Dennis served as Vice President and CIO for St. Mary’s Medical Center, a health system located in Evansville, Indiana. His vast experience in healthcare technology includes positions as CIO for Tampa General Healthcare in Tampa and as a systems analyst for St. Vincent Hospital and Health Care Center in Indianapolis.
“We are extremely pleased to have Dennis DeMaise join us,” said Lisa Brady, Rush-Copley Senior Vice-President and Chief Strategy Officer. “His experience, accomplishments and commitment to excellence make him a valuable addition to Rush-Copley.”
Dennis earned his B.S. in Computer Technology from Purdue University and his M.B.A. in Healthcare Administration from the University of Phoenix. He is a member of the College of Healthcare Information Management Executives, the Healthcare Information Management Systems Society, Ascension Health System National Task Force on HIPPA Compliance and the American Hospital Association. Dennis resides in Aurora.
Rush-Copley Medical Center is located on the Rush-Copley Medical Center campus, 2000 Ogden Ave. (Route 34) in Aurora. The 183-bed hospital offers inpatient and outpatient care and progressive technology. Rush-Copley is a member of the Rush-System for Health.
