Silver Cross Receives National Award for Best HR Practices
Silver Cross Hospital is one of five hospitals in the country to receive the American Society for Healthcare Human Resource Administration (ASHHRA) Best Practices Award in the areas of employee engagement and organizational results at a recent conference in Austin, Texas.
During this event, staff from the hospital presented the "Silver Cross Story" focusing on how employees, physicians, and volunteers have created a positive work environment that continues to result in the delivery of award-winning customer service and quality care. Silver Cross has been named a Thomson Reuters 100 Top Hospitals National Award winner for four consecutive years and also as one of America's Most Customer Friendly Hospitals for 2008-09 by the American Alliance of Healthcare Providers.
