FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Provena Saint Joseph Medical Center Honors R.I.S.E. Finalists and WinnersProvena Saint Joseph Medical Center is part of Mokena, Illinois-based Provena Health and our mission calls staff to build communities of healing and hope by compassionately responding to human need in the spirit of Jesus Christ. Our values flow from our mission and our identity as a Catholic Healthcare ministry: Respect, integrity, stewardship and excellence, which are important values, especially in healthcare. Each year, Provena Health employees have an opportunity to nominate fellow employees or physicians whom they feel best live out these values in their daily work at their local ministries. Nominations were reviewed by Human Resources and then forwarded to a nominating committee comprised of members from Provena Saint Joseph Medical Center's Employee Recognition Committee. The nominating committee screened the nominations, and then conducted interviews before selecting the four R.I.S.E. winners. From this distinguished group, the overall system winners are then selected to represent Provena Health System. On Friday, February 13, staff joined the 2008 R.I.S.E. nominees and finalists in the newly completed conference center that is apart of the million expansion project including an eight-story tower with 199 new private patient rooms for the R.I.S.E.
