FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Fall conference and Pinnacle presentation grand successThe 2009 ISHMPR Fall Conference and Pinnacle presentation was a big success. Held at the Illinois Hospital Association in Naperville and Springfield on Friday, November 13th, the event was well attended. The Naperville location was a sell out and Springfield was likewise well attended. The morning presentation by Chris Bevolo, "Joe Public Doesn't Care About Your Hospital" was informative and well received. He led a lively discussion on how to best reach the 25% of people who are actually interested in a hospital's marketing message. After a quick break, the morning continued with back-to-back presentations from IHA staff members. Nichole Magalis, Senior Director of Government Relations of the IHA presented a "Legislative Update" a briefing on the happenings in Springfield. Cathy Grossi, Assistant Vice President of the IHA presented "Pandemic Flu Planning" filled with statewide resources to assist with the current spread of H1N1. After a lively networking lunch, the conference continued with "Just Enough Hours in the Day: Time Management with a Twist" a presentation by Vicki Austin of CHOICES Worldwide.
